Old implementation notes archived; product docs live only here
Hundreds of implementation notes — fix summaries, feature write-ups, test journeys — used to sit beside the code with no index, most of them describing screens that have since changed. They are now archived, every one accounted for, and this site is the one place product documentation lives. (#5631)
A release-notes post for every RC
Release information used to live in three places that never met: the REST API's changelog, the app's What's new dialog and the GitHub milestones. The release notes now bring them together — one post per release candidate, starting with RC4, and an Unreleased post for what has landed since. (#5629)
Screenshots that retake themselves
Every product screenshot on this site is now captured by a script from the product itself, in the light and the dark theme, and retaken every week — so a picture never shows a screen that no longer exists. Switch the site theme and the screenshots switch with it. (#5620)
A user guide, an administration guide and a CLI guide
The documentation is no longer one long sidebar. The top bar now has four guides, each with its own
sidebar and home page: the User guide for working in Apiome, the
Administration guide for running an installation, the
CLI for the apiome command, and the Reference for the
REST API, MCP, the mock runtime and CI.
Ship, documented page by page
The Ship group now has a page for every screen in it — Published with visibility, private keys and the hosted mock, the Sunset timeline, the five steps of the Export studio, SDK settings and Mock try-out. (#5624)
Workspace & account, documented page by page
The Workspace & account group now has a page for every screen in it — Members & seats, Roles & permissions, API keys & agent keys, Tenants & the manage drawer, Profile & security, Linked accounts, Preferences, Notifications and Help & shortcuts. (#5626)
Apiome RC4
RC4 closed on 2026-08-20. It brings the app notes below and REST API 1.215.1 to 1.263.0 (40 versions). See every issue in the RC4 milestone.
